hāparangi - to shout, bawl
Hāparangi. 1. v.i. Shout, bawl. Kahaparangi te waha o te tamariki.
2. v.t. Cut open. He ika ka toe toea, he ika ka haparangitia (J. ix, 188).
Hāparu, v.t. Make common, desecrate. Ka haparua aku mea e koe.
